Do we sign a contract before work starts?
Yes. Work starts only after a written agreement is in place and signed. The agreement defines scope, responsibilities, pricing, timelines (where applicable), and what “done” means - so both sides are aligned before any delivery begins.
How is confidentiality handled?
Confidentiality is included as a standard part of the agreement before work starts. Information is treated as confidential by default and is used only to deliver the agreed scope. We keep access and retained information minimal, and we do not request personal data during the initial discovery step.
What does IT Consultancy mean to you?
For HomeEase, IT Consultancy is practical, day-to-day support combined with long-term thinking. That can mean remote or on-site troubleshooting, network and Wi-Fi improvements, workstations and device setup, and cleanup of “quick fixes” that have grown over time. It also includes sustainable planning and execution around office renovations or moves - ensuring cabling, access points, meeting room tech, and documentation are done properly so the setup stays stable and maintainable after the project is finished.
Are HomeEase qualified electricians?
No. HomeEase is not a certified electrician. Any electrical work (and carpentry when needed) is handled by licensed professionals. HomeEase focuses on the technology side - planning, system design, configuration, automation logic, and documentation - and coordinates with the relevant trades to ensure the full solution is safe, compliant, and reliable.
How quickly can you start?
We usually begin with a short discovery to confirm scope and constraints. After that, we can typically start quickly because the delivery is structured and repeatable.
Do you work remote or on-site?
Remote-first where it makes sense, on-site when needed. The goal is the quickest path to a stable outcome.
What do you need from me to get started?
A brief description of what you want to achieve, what’s not working today, and (if you know) what products/systems you have. No personal data is needed during discovery.
Do you supply equipment?
Usually equipment is supplied by the customer. If you want, HomeEase can procure equipment on request and invoice the cost.
